Andromeda was founded in 2006 with the aim to explore new musical territories mixing Heavy Metal and Italian lyrics. They released their first EP ‘Vola Su Andromeda’ the same year on Pirames Digital. Many concerts in their native country and beyond followed.
In the second half of 2013 Andromeda have finally completed ‘Shock’, their debut full length album, which will be released by Southern Brigade Records and marketed and distributed by Scarlet Records.
Recorded, mixed and mastered at the Golem Dungeon Studios in Bari, Italy, by Giuseppe Dentamaro (Golem, Backjumper, Godyva), ‘Shock’ is a powerful, groovy and explosive modern metal album, a loud scream from the depths of the Italian underground scene that can’t be ignored!
July 2014 will see Andromeda taking part in the Total Metal Festival, sharing the stage with renowned bands such as Kreator, Behemoth, Annihilator, Death Angel and Moonspell.
