Backstreet Girls keep on rocking, never stopping. Norway’s hardest rocking boogie brothers return with a new album titled "Don’t Mess With My Rock'n'Roll". As if anyone could ever imagine trying to do that. The quartet, consisting of Petter Baarli, Bjørn Müller, Dan Thunderbird and Martin H-Son, have been recording in Amper Tone Studio in Oslo and the result is ten guitar-fuelled riffrock songs without any room for ballads, in the best BSG tradition.
Backstreet Girls celebrated their 30th anniversary in 2014, and are finally getting the attention and legacy they’ve always deserved. The boys are uncompromising and honest in everything they do, a thing people outside their inner circle could experience through the documentary "Return to Muotathal" from 2016. The film has been shown in cinemas, at International film festivals and on national TV in Norway, and is available on DVD(Cat No. VOW216EDVD).
The new album is released on CD and vinyl and the song "Rollin 'With The Stones" is released as digital single. This is one of several songs on the album with references to other artists who inspired the Backstreet brothers. The cover picture is one of guitarist and main songwriter Petter Baarli's characteristic paintings, another side of a versatile artist.
