Bosnian born singer-songwriter DIAMUSK (ADISA ZVEKIC) releases her solo debut album Wadada. Her unique and powerful vocal talents, as well as her writing and composing skills have been vital contributions to the bands GLUHO DOBA (BIH), DUBIOZA KOLEKTIV (BIH) and LA CHERGA (AUT). From Bergen - Norway, her home since 2013, ADISA ZVEKIC is now going solo under her artist name DIAMUSK. While moving towards a more international Reggae Pop style, the legacy of Dub from previous projects is not abandoned. The unique powerful voice is the same. The personal and individual style of the music connects well with the strong message of the lyrics. The opposition against corruption, suppressing elite and the corporate driven destruction of environment and society is DIAMUSK’s main message to the audience. Wadada is the word for love in the Ethiopian (Amharic) language and has been adopted and used by rastafarians. Through the powerful tools of self-assurance, conciousness, love and forgiveness, we will grow and become the masters of our own lives. Coming from an artist who began her career during the Balkan war and who lived through the social unrest and instability of post-war Bosnia, no one can doubt that DIAMUSK knows the true meaning and importance behind the deep layers of this album’s lyrics. Wadada is a solid proof that DIAMUSK is standing on her own two feet, both as an individual and as a musical artist.
