IN SORTE DIABOLI

A NEW AGE OF DARKNESS IS COMING…. 2007 sees DIMMU BORGIR releasing their long awaited new album “In Sorte Diaboli”, the first concept album in the Norwegian band`s history. The album is set in medieval Europe telling the story of a priest's assistant who falls from Christianity to the dark side. To make the story even clearer, the artwork will be an extension of the story with not only the lyrics for the songs printed in the 32pg booklet, but an additional short synopsis introducing the plot. DIMMU BORGIR recorded “In Sorte Diaboli” with the following new line up: Shagrath (vocals), Silenoz (guitars), Galder (guitars), I.C.S. Vortex (bass), Mustis (keyboards) and Hellhammer (drums). The album was mixed in Studio Fredman in Göteborg, Sweden by producers Fredrik Nordström and Patrik J. Sten.
