STUNNIG RE-ISSUE OF PAGAN BLACK METAL BAND DRUDKH'S DEBUT ALBUM
DRUDKH are a true underground phenomenon. Despite having nearly no advertising or promotion the Ukrainians manage to sell thousands of records on word of mouth within and beyond the Black Metal scene. DRUDKH’s first release after signing to Season of Mist saw a luxurious solid wood-box edition limited to 500 copies of “Microcosmos” being completely pre-ordered before its official release. Following the high demand for DRUDKH, Season of Mist will re-release their complete catalogue – starting with the debut “Forgotten Legends” (2003). As a rule within the Black Metal scene many followers always consider any band’s first album to be the best. This also applies to DRUDKH as they created their trademark Slavonic Pagan Metal sound with “Forgotten Legends”, which embraces epic folk-influenced melodies and creates cinematic and luxuriant atmospheres charged with melancholy. To this day the three epic tracks and one outro are regarded as one of the highlights of the Pagan Black Metal genre.
