Feldgrau was created by Helmkamp and Vhex when they set upon the idea of mixing black death metal with rhythmic industrial noise. Although unorthodox, this combination of extreme elements from two very different genres creates a harsh sound unlike anything ever heard before. Helmkamp, Destruct and Vhex (coming from such diverse musical backgrounds as Revenge / Angelcorpse, Immolation, and Vhektor respectively) bring in distinct creative concepts that give Feldgrau an original and misanthropic mechanized sound. Feldgrau hails the strong, the extreme, whether it is musical, stylistic, or lyrical! Expect no blast beats, but rather churning industrial chaos! Expect no clean generic riffs, but rather filthy primitive harshness! Expect the sounds of destruction and conflagration! War is the hygiene of the world - Crush the christian contagion!
