Folkrim, the dynamic force in folk metal, is set to captivate audiences with their third album, “Embers”. What began as a spontaneous creation on a drunken summer's eve in 2019 has evolved into a powerhouse of fast, loud, beautiful, groovy, and fun musical expressions. Frontman Erno, inspired by the whims of the moment, penned the song "Santulla Saahan" as a joke during a night out. This seemingly accidental creation laid the foundation for Folkrim's journey, leading to a collection of songs and their debut album. As essentially a one-man project, Folkrim garnered positive feedback on the local scene, prompting the band's evolution and the planning of live shows. Now, with the upcoming release of "Embers" Folkrim is poised to redefine the folk metal genre with their unique vision. The sound of the album represents a departure from previous works, aiming to establish Folkrim as a distinct entity rather than a mere reflection of other folk metal giants.
