The Honor Campaign EP is FORTY WINTERS’ first offering to the world. The EP was self financed and produced in true DIY style. The band has spent the last couple years perfecting their sound, destroying audiences all over Florida and soon your city. With a sound somewhere between BURIED ALIVE, CANNIBAL CORPSE, THE ACACIA STRAIN and DARKEST HOUR, FORTY is ready to step up with today’s heavy hitters of the genre and create their own unique niche. Swiftly blasting through truly dynamic songs, mixed with massive breaks and thought provoking, humorous lyrics, is their signature brand of brutal heavy hardcore. FORTY WINTERS set themselves apart from their contemporaries and will soon be on the map as kings of the genre. The band originally self released The Honor Campaign EP in late 2008 and is now being distributed by Dead Truth Recordings. FORTY plans on finishing up songs for their full-length Dead Truth debut and touring their asses off. Dead Truth Recordings explain, “The main reason we had an interest in FORTY is their work ethic, in true DIY fashion, and always with smiles on their faces and good attitudes. We want to work with bands that put in as much as we do, that work hard to be where they want to be, and push to the next level. FORTY is definitely one of those bands.
