FROGS OF WAR hailed from Huddersfield and existed from 1987-1992, in which time they left the world with a solitary kick ass mini album as well as a handful of other tracks that remained unreleased – until now, two decades later! A lost gem, the band split up in 1992 . Hugely influenced at the time by the likes of HDQ, SNUFF and their hometown contemporaries the INSTIGATORS, the entire studio recorded output by the band has been compiled onto CD for the first time as part of the acclaimed Boss Tuneage Retro Series. Apart from the LP, “Waves Of” also originally appeared on the “Floor 81” comp LP – all other tracks were never officially released beyond demo tapes. Digitally remastered and with liner notes from the band, these archive recordings are a must for all fans of UK melodic hardcore punk.
