ONE big event lies ahead! Its undeniable - every Death Metal fan is currently awaiting the sophomore Album to “…of Frost and War” by HAIL OF BULLETS! "On Divine Winds" is the 2nd Ablum of the death metal supergroup and marks a new landmark in Death Metal!
With Martin van Drunen (ASPHYX, ex-PESTILENCE/BOLT THROWER) on vocals, Theo van Ekelen (ex-HOUWITSER) on bass, Ed Warby (GOREFEST) behind the drumkit and the two THANATOS guitarist Paul Baayens and Stephan Gebedi delivering the riffs once more there is no stopping. HAIL OF BULLETS will be leading the Death Metal genre with this release!
The reactions of the press and fans on HAIL OF BULLETS’ debut album ‘…Of Frost And War’ in 2008 was overwhelming and the band played countless festivals and club shows all over Europe.
The debut album was followed by a six-track mini album in July 2009, entitled ‘Warsaw Rising’ More shows followed and the band even made their first visit to the USA at 2009’s Maryland Deathfest!
In the beginning of 2010 the band started work on their second full length album - another massive chunk of war-themed death metal!
"On Divine Winds" was again produced by Ed Warby and mixed by Dan Swanö (EDGE OF SANITY, KATATONIA, BLOODBATH, DARK FUNERAL, DISSECTION, etc.).
Singer/lyricist Martin van Drunen managed to come up with a new, intriguing concept: The rise and fall of the Japanese Empire. Again, Mick Koopman provided the striking artwork, which shows a distinct continuation of the HAIL OF BULLETS aesthetics. Be prepared for word domination!
The limited edition of the CD will be released as a Digibook w/Bonus track and includes a bonus-dvd with a full show filmed at Summer Breeze 2008 plus Videoclips!
