DESCRIPTION

An irresistible combination of goth, glam, synthpop, rock and eighties, Manuskript demonstrate an uncanny ability to soak up influences from absolutely everywhere and squirt them out again as classic.... Manuskript. Their unmistakeable ‘Britgoth’ style is characterized by unerring vocal lines, which weave in and out of a backdrop of grandiose synthesisers and searing guitars - all cemented with a pounding, electronic rhythm section. They have brilliantly eccentric, clever lyrics, with choruses to die for and musical ideas which tumble forth as if they are tipped from a bucket. Hailing from Nottingham, England – the band have established themselves as one of the best known and best loved acts on the UK’s gothic and alternative scene. The energy and interplay between the band on-stage is infectious. These are five men who do not know the meaning of the word static! Their dashing style, wicked sense of humour and their boyish charm have been wowing European audiences for the best part of 10 years. They have played a host of major shows and been regulars at the Whitby Gothic Weekend (and by popular demand) have appeared more times than any other band. Their new album is by far their most dynamic and exciting release to date
