The Unraveline (Re-issue)
Nearly five years ago FAT received a demo from two former members of 88 Fingers Louie, it was their new band Rise Against. FAT immediately signed the band, got them in the studio, and released their first album, The Unraveling.
After its hurried release in April of 2001, the band hit the road. Tour after tour, Rise Against slowly built a devoted fan-base in the US and Europe. 2005 finds Rise Against enjoying the successes of years of hard work, playing sold out shows throughout the world, and achieving amazing record sales. The Chicago natives will even play the part of Black Flag in the upcoming film "The Lords of Dogtown".
Looking back to the recording of The Unraveling, the band, and FAT felt that in the haste to get a record out, and the band on the road, some things were left to be desired in the nuts and bolts of the recording. That coupled with the fact that as the band has grown they’ve become attune to their sound, and how things should have been, we decided to re-mix, re-master, and re-release the album. We didn’t stop there, also included are two bonus songs from the same era.
The Unraveling is a must have for the ever-growing leagues of Rise Against converts!
