Released on 2nd October 1995, “(What's The Story) Morning Glory?” is the second studio album by English rock band Oasis. The album sold a record-breaking 345,000 copies in its first week in the UK and spent 10 weeks at number one on the UK Albums Chart. It was also the band's breakthrough in America, reaching number four on the US Billboard 200 and being certified 4× platinum there. It has sold over 22 million copies worldwide, making it one of the best-selling albums of all time. As of October 2018, it is the UK's fifth best-selling album and third best-selling studio album of all time, having been certified 15× platinum and selling 4.94 million copies. The cover is a picture of two men passing each other on Berwick Street in London. The location was chosen because the street was a popular location for record shops at the time.
