"Heavenly Bodies" is the 6th studio album by Gene Loves Jezebel, originally released in 1993. GLJ are a British rock band formed in the early 1980s by identical twin brothers Jay and Michael Aston. The songs on "Heavenly" Bodies are driven by James Stevenson's (Kim wilde/Chelsea) fluid guitar riffs while maintaining a distinct kind of British reserve. The rhythm section treads a fine balance between dark foreboding and romantic optimism. The band rose to fame in 1983 when their debut album reached number 8 in the UK indie chart.
