Before the band took on the moniker of Jex Thoth – after the charismatic and talented frontwoman leading them – they were known as Totem. This self-titled EP was the only release under that name and it planted the seeds for all the deserved attention and praise they have gained since then. The music here is firmly rooted in 60’s and 70’s psychedelia and doom and will interest devoted supporters of Pentagram, Jefferson Airplane, Catherine Ribeiro and Amon Düül II.
