PASSAPORTI (BRONZE VINYL)

Karlon's new album "Passaporti" is the first Rap album with a mix of Hip-Hop and Caboverdian roots songs. Featuring artists such as Maria de Barros, Cordas do Sol, João Cirilo, Valete, Chullage and Maria de Barros. This record combines hip hop and traditional Cape Verdean music, travelling from morna with the track “Foi Sodade” inspired by Cesária Évora’s and Bonga’s “Sodade” to the funaná with “Nha Cultura” inspired by Zé Cirilo’s song “Pó di Terra.”
