MACABRE DECAY
INTO OBLIVION

Macabre Decay were formed in 2014 with one goal, to create old school Swedish death metal the way it’s meant to be played. Rotten, putrid and groovy. The band found their vocalist in 2015 as Henka Andersson joined, known for his time in Incarnated (one of the early death metal bands dating back to 1990) and recently of Centinex fame. With a complete line-up in 2016 the band quickly released a self-titled demo and eventually their debut full-length Purgatory in 2018. Shortly after the release the band made a line-up change where the drummer from Incarnated, Martin Knutar, joined the ranks making Macabre Decay having an even more old school death metal presence being one step closer to the sound they’re looking for. They recorded a quick EP called Bloodsoaked in 2019 with the full line-up, recorded from live sessions in their homestudio. Being a very raw production it still got a lot of interest and after several great live performances the name Macabre Decay was now talked about. Three years later it’s time for the band to unleash the second full-length Into Oblivion. Having released three singles and played an online show where they showcased one of those they’ve got great feedback and there have been thousands of listens, digital platforms combined, on the singles. The band is eager to release what they themselves think is their best material to date.
