SPACE INVADERS

Are you in for some time travelling? Legendary thrash/deathers Messiah from Switzerland invite you to their rehearsal space to listen to some original recordings from the years 1985-1987. “Space Invaders” is a journey to the roots of Messiah and reflects their joy of experimentation at that time. All rehearsal recordings have not yet been released and represent some of the songs the way they sounded at the time of composition - and that is often quite different to what they sounded on Messiah’s much-loved debut albums “Hymn to Abramelin” and “Extreme Cold Weather”.  The rehearsal recordings on “Space Invaders” are on the one hand a historical document, and on the other hand the instrumental tracks "Maleus Maleficarum" and "The Urologue", which have not yet been released, show what might have happened to MESSIAH if they had not disbanded.
