Even in 1994, good and exciting traditional metal albums were being recorded while "out there“ grunge and crossover were raging. Morbid Jester from Herborn started in 1988 under the name MILZBRAND (German for anthrax) and initially played punk. But the love for heavy metal prevailed among the members, so that in 1992 they recorded their first demo as MORBID JESTER, which sold more than 400 copies regionally. The press also reacted enthusiastically, so the next step was to record their first album: "Until The Battle Is Won“.
