French laboratory of death N.K.V.D., now reduced to a one-man project lead by L.F., (responsible for vocals, all instruments and programming) is back after their previous astonishing album Vlast, that was released in 2011 on Those Opposed Records.
Vlast upset the rather orthodox black metal world by spoiling a communist aesthetic and imagery (the album was inspired and/or dedicated to various dictators from the 90’s eastern, especially ex-CCCP nations block).
NKVD is again on the terror walk: knocking doors, being musically unfriendly and extremely violent and a band to be afraid of.
NKVD is the concrete proof that industrial black metal is not dead and can still has a lot of panic to offer besides the mythical releases of Aborym, Mysticum and the likes…..
