Parade first came to our attention when brit pop was in full swing and they were blazing a trail for the new generation.
After seeing Parade live, with their energy and passion, Detour records were convinced the band were the real deal.
Despite taking all of the best bits of the mod scene and transposing them into this new fangled brit pop output, the band were ultimately destined to miss the boat.
As brit pop waned, Parade slipped away into the ever growing pile of bands that got away...
