DYNAMIC BROADCAST RECORDING FROM PINK FLOYD’S 1970 EUROPEAN TOUR
Recorded on Pink Floyd's tour of Europe in March 1970, this show introduced Lund to some of the newer material from the Ummagumma LP, and a taste of things soon to come on Atom Heart Mother, to be released later that year.
This show begins with Syd Barrett’s signature tune "Astronomy Domine". Of particular note in the set are the intense "Careful With That Axe, Eugene" and a dynamic rendition of the then unreleased "Embryo".
The show ends with their latest epic "Atom Heart Mother". At nineteen minutes, it is close to its final form but is performed here without a brass and choir section.
This broadcast recording offers an earnest, unique perspective of the band in a formative time of their career.
