This album was recorded in front of an audience of mostly family, friends, and music company executives from Columbia. The band had just released the studio album, From the Inside, which introduced Paul Cotton in place of Jim Messina. Cotton's contributions on electric guitar signify that Poco was headed in a more commercially rock-oriented direction.
