Exactly 16 years after Slayer’s Reign in Blood, four thrash metal maniacs set off to fulfil a PROPHECY and to explore the legendary secret of the number 23. Started as Slayer / Maiden / Metallica cover band, THE PROPHECY23 is now attacking their audience with their own unique style: BRUTAL THRASH METAL. Since that time, our four brave pumped-up-with-pizza-and-canned-beer heroes are roughing up countless moshpits at their energetic live gigs (with bands like Die Apokalyptischen Reiter, Axxis, Debauchery, Seventh Avenue, Dark Age, Brainstorm and Fleshcrawl) leaving a permanent impression as hard as a 23kg sledge hammer in your face. More than ever, Hannes’ thrash vocals and Tobias’ death vocals incorporate in an aggressive unit: BRUTAL THRASH METAL. Thrash Metal attitudes paired with brutal growls meet riffs – sometimes fast, sometimes groovy but always absolutely exiting and action-loaded. After two demo records, the debut album “…TO THE PIT” is released in July 2010 with MASSACRE-RECORDS. On shows in 2010 with bands like Pro-Pain, Death Before Dishonor, Torture Squad in Germany and Switzerland, THE PROPHECY23 will continue to demonstrate their style and will activate mega-moshpits.
