Shape of the New Sun was formed in a rehearsal studio in September 2014. The idea was to meet and "jam". But already at the first "jam" the first song was written. Shape of the New Sun is four musicians from the small town of Skara in Sweden. The four have played music ever since the early teens.
Thomas Kihlberg (song / guitar) has released several albums with the Swedish bands Orchid and Animan. Tomas Persic (drums) played in the successful pop / rock band "Lambretta" in the early 2000s. They had great success and were high on the Swedish top lists.
