BOXING DAY MASSACRE

TEXTBOOK were formed from the ashes of WOOLWORTHY one of Boss Tuneage’s most critically acclaimed bands from the early part of the decade who toured Europe several times. Following the last UK tour that introduced TEXTBOOK to a new army of fans, the band return this July to promote brand new album, “BOXING DAY MASSACRE”, their first official release in Europe. This is the bands finest material to date, recorded under the watchful eye of ALKALINE TRIO producer Matt Allison, and displays a song writing maturity which will appeal to lovers of THE REPLACEMENTS, BUFFALO TOM, SUPERCHUNK and HUSKER DU. On Boxing Day Massacre, the band rips through 10 songs ranging from Replacements inspired pop-rock to rowdy 3-chord punk and features guest appearances by Scott Ozark (Oblivion), Chris Frantisak (The Bon Mots/Urge Overkill), Dave Suh (Caviar/The Assembly) and Tom Daily (Tom Daily/Not Rebecca).
