The Fall, The Rise are a four piece band from Birmingham, UK consisting of Martin (Vocals), Steve (Drums), Chris (Bass) and Simon (Guitar). Formed at the end of 2004, TFTR set out to play the kind of music they wanted to hear and play irrespective of the ‘current trend’. The blueprint for writing their music was simple: If they thought it was good and they enjoyed playing it, then it was good enough for the public to hear. Their songs often contain punishing heavy sections coupled with an almost pop music mentality of ensuring there is always a catchy hook. After all, at the heart of every great song there is a great melody or riff. After writing songs they were happy to record they entered the studio and set the songs down with Jim Turner of Waiting Room Studios/Tribute to Nothing. What came out of this recording was the debut album Interlopers 'which was quickly picked up by Revolver Black Records. Its 10 songs deal with sorrow, despair and ultimately redemption. Even before its release date has been set, Interlopers music has attracted the attention of people, with song Bite Your Tongue and Walk Away getting multiple airplays from Zane Lowe on his Radio One show.
