Founded as a death/black metal act known as Treblinka in 1987, Tiamat were one of the bands that pioneered the Swedish death metal sound. Tiamat’s debut album ‘Sumerian Cry’ was the first full-length album recorded at Sunlight Studios (Entombed’s ‘Left Hand Path’ was released before but recorded two months later). Logo and cover artwork by legendary Kristian ‘Necrolord’ Wahlin. Complete booklet remake by ACW including all lyrics for the first time. Also in the booklet many scans of underground magazines provided by Nicola Costantini from the ‘Encyclopedia of Svensk Dodsmetal’.
