Glaswegian folk rock act THE WAKES will release their brand new and sixth studio album “Venceremos” this september! The new material is along the lines of Irish Folk’s heroes like THE DUBLINERS or THE CORRIES, consciousness of tradition meets ideas given by Punk-idols like THE CLASH and THE POGUES – Folk’n Roll was born, the term the band itself uses to describe its exceptional style.
