French metallers Darkness Dynamite formed in January 2007 and recorded their first EP ‘Through the Ashes of the Wolves ‘ in June 2007. Combining a strong musical technique with a sense of image, the band sells out the first pressing of the EP (2,000 units). Touring starts, and Darkness Dynamite shares the stage with bands like Bring Me The Horizon, Maroon, Architects, Job For A Cowboy, Shaped By Fate and The Chariot. Selling out show after show as headliners or co-headliners, DARKNESS DYNAMITE quickly starts generating heat on LASTFM.com and MYSPACE. Their audience continues to grow through word of mouth and quickly starts to spread throughout Europe.
In 2008, Darkness Dynamite starts work of their first full album. Darkness Dynamite integrates all of the modern metal flavors but takes inspiration from 80’s metal paying homage to Metallica, Guns n' Roses, Pantera and Sepultura among others. After five months of intensive work with composition and pre-production, the recording process starts in August 2008. Delivering sonic assaults from death metal, breathe taking guitar leads and catchy choruses designed to make stadiums scream, Darkness Dynamite succeeded in fusing the perfect combination of pure aggression with the most sophisticated melodic arrangements. “The Astonishing Fury of Mankind” is an extremely accomplished debut release that will quickly establish DARKNESS DYNAMITE as a serious up & comer in 2009!
