TRACK LIST

Formed from the ashes of the seminal Minneapolis hardcore band HOLDING ON, REGRET started up in the winter of 2005. They quickly put together a four-song demo and began touring. Their hands-on, grassroots approach to self-promotion and DIY tour ethics helped REGRET win over fans all over the Midwest and east coast in the first year of their existence. After a busy summer playing shows all around the US and Canada, REGRET was forced into a hiatus with the departure of several members, leaving pioneer members Matt Keil and Sean Lipinski (formerly of HOLDING ON) to regroup and put together a new lineup. In time, the band was reinforced with old friends and writing resumed, adding Isaiah Davis, Brian Moen, and Brad Johnson to the establishment. REGRET signed with Organized Crime Records in January of 2006 and headed to the studio to record what would become the group's debut MCD titled Misery Brigade, which shows REGRET at their finest. This effort is heavy and menacing; a testament to the year the band lived through in order to put the release together. REGRET wears their influences on their sleeve, borrowing from hardcore luminaries like UNBROKEN, GIVE UP THE GHOST, and local Minneapolis heroes HARVEST and DISEMBODIED, intertwining cathartic hardcore with crushing breakdowns.
