Reissue of the sixth Toxpacker, original from 2011, finally back on vinyl!
In 2011, TOXPACK released their album “Bastards of Tomorrow” to mark the band's 10th anniversary and after that, nothing was ever the same for the Berliners.
The album was the starting and springboard for the band's rapid success, and they have been in the top ranks of the charts with their releases ever since. And fans agree: “Bastards of Tomorrow” was a milestone and probably their best album!
Their gripping trademark sound of punk, hardcore, rock'n'roll and a touch of metal, which the band likes to call East Berlin Street Core (E.B.S.C.) has developed from album to album and has brought them a large and steadily growing fan base.
13 rousing songs that are immediately catchy - and culminate in choruses that are suitable for stadiums across the board. Lyrically, depth and maturity creep into the band's well-known, boldly gripping subject matter. The tried and tested tradition of bringing musician friends into the studio as guest singers continues with Roi Pearce from The Last Resort (Heute So, Morgen So) and Paul Shearer from Sheer Terror (E.B.S.C.).
“Bastarde Von Morgen” was produced, recorded, mixed and mastered by studio legend Harris Johns (at House Of Music / Stuttgart and Musiclab / Berlin).
The bottom line is a monolith of an album that promptly picks up everyone from punk and streetcore fans to metal and hardcore fans and fans of hard German rock. And without a single spark of arbitrariness. A sure street punk classic!
Out of print on vinyl for many years, their former label “Sunny Bastards” is now releasing a Collector's Edition reissue on 180gr.
