MAKIN' OUR BONES

With one foot deeply rooted in tradition and the other kicking hard heeled on future's door, this quintet is determined to freight-train this most persistent form of music and entertainment forward. The core of the band has stayed together for the better part of five years. As "Phillie & the Cruel Faces", including Phillie Obuskovic (lead guitar) Marcus H.P. (bass) and Jay Ratama (drums) the band have already toured several parts of Europe, including successful festival appearances in Germany, where the band's full-tilt, take no prisoners performance raised not only eyebrows, but the bar for those next on the bill. Norway has been gigged up and down, with highlights including supporting the legendary Backstreet Girls on their annual Christmas bash at Rockefeller Music Hall, last year. With the addition of Paulie Vercouteren (Hollywood Vampires, Kill City Bandits), and Matt Groven (rhythm guitar) and a reignited spark of productivity, it was decided to take the next step: The name is changed to the more memorable and direct Virginia Hill. A full album of fresh material has been recorded, the first tastes have been the single "Dangerous Temptations" and the single and video “Aphrodite” Virginia Hill are ready to kick ass, not only throughout the country, but all over the world.
